These days in Los Angeles is one of the most famous gemmedev-conferences of the world – Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3. Traditionally, many of the largest game developers have prepared for the conference announcements of new games, DLC, gadgets – this year it involves about a hundred companies. We offer you an overview of the main gaming announcements on E3 2017.
Assassin’s Creed Origins
Ubisoft confirmed rumors and told that another game of the popular series called Assassin’s Creed Origins is being prepared. At a press briefing, Microsoft shared five minutes of gameplay, which confirmed the location – Ancient Egypt. In the trailer, we see a piece of battle with the Roman centurion, so you can make assumptions about the time frame of the game (for example, the period when Egypt was a Roman province). The game will be released in October this year, for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Fallout and Doom in virtual reality
Bethesda announced that this year will be released VR-adaptation of the fourth game of the series on the world of post-apocalypse – Fallout 4 VR. True, from the VR-platforms mentioned only HTC Vive.
Doom is also ported for virtual reality – for the PlayStation VR and Vive, it will look something like this:
New BioWare game
Electronic Arts and BioWare announced their new project. The game is called Anthem, but there is almost no detail about it. On the development of the game switched part of the staff who previously worked on Mass Effect: Andromeda. The developers offer to “explore the world of pristine beauty”, judging by the gameplay trailers, this can be another adventure and exploratory action with the open world. The game can be released in the spring of 2018 or 2019.
Star Wars Battlefront II
Electronic Arts also told about the future of the series of games in the universe of Star Wars. In multiplayer Star Wars Battlefront II you can play for Darth Maul, Ray, Bob Fett, Luke Skywalker
New Life is Strange
The continuation of the story – Life Is Strange: Before the Storm – was announced in August this year. The first game of the series – an adventure quest in the genre of interactive cinema with elements of QTE about the possibility of changing the future – has become one of the best-selling games on the PlayStation in 2015.
Wolfenstein II will be released this year
At its press conference, Bethesda officially confirmed that the continuation of the legendary game Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is coming out, and already in October this year. The main character is the same BJ Blaskovich.
