The company Corsair, according to network sources, is preparing to release the case Obsidian 1000D for powerful desktop computers and gaming systems.
Users will be able to install the motherboard format E-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX or Mini-ITX. Expansion slots are made by the formula “8 + 2”. The use of discrete graphics accelerators up to 400 mm in length is allowed.
Inside, you can accommodate up to five drives in a 3.5-inch form factor or up to six 2.5-inch storage devices. The height of the processor cooler can reach 180 mm.
The dimensions of the case are 693 × 307 × 697 mm. The side wall is made of tempered glass, which allows you to admire the installed components.
The novelty provides flexible possibilities for forming an air or liquid cooling system. In particular, you can use radiators up to 480 mm. Up to eight fans with a diameter of 120 mm can be installed in the front.
On the I / O panel there are four USB 3.1 Type-A ports and two USB Type-C ports, as well as headphone and microphone jacks. The Corsair Obsidian 1000D will be on sale soon.
