The company Spire has announced a cooler Frontier Plus, suitable for use with AMD and Intel processors.
The novelty consists of two U-shaped copper heat pipes 8 mm in diameter. They have direct contact with the processor cover, which increases the efficiency of heat removal.
The cooler is equipped with an aluminum radiator and a 92 mm fan. The rotation speed of the latter is controlled by the method of pulse-width modulation (PWM) in the range from 1800 to 2200 rpm.
The novelty is characterized by a low noise level, which does not exceed 22 dBA at the maximum fan speed.
The cooler is able to cope with cooling chips that have a maximum value of dissipated thermal energy (TDP) up to 120 watts. The product is compatible with Intel Socket 775/1155/1156/1366/1150/1151 and AMD Socket AM2 / AM3 processors. The device weighs about 250 grams.
You can buy a Spire Frontier Plus processor cooler now for an estimated price of $ 45. The product is provided with a two-year warranty.
