NASA is actively preparing for the flight to Mars.
The agency was informed of plans to launch the first manned spacecraft with astronauts on the Red Planet in 2030. The first flight of astronauts to Mars will take place in 2030. Until now, NASA also plans to make an expedition to the moon. In this case, astronauts will have to spend a year on its surface. In preparation for landing on the Moon from 2018 to 2026, it is planned to make four manned flights.
The scientific laboratory and residential modules will be installed on the Moon. After preparing the base and all conditions in 2027, the astronauts will land on the moon and spend there a whole year. After this experiment, NASA will be able to prepare for the flight to Mars. The first manned flight will take place no earlier than 2030. Experts consider the main problem at the moment for disembarking people on Mars cosmic radiation.
In their view, the protection of cosmonauts should be given special attention so that the first flight does not cause complications in the work of their brain and cardiovascular system. Among other things, prolonged stay in space weakens the human immunity, because of what it becomes vulnerable even to non-dangerous microbes.
