Chieftec company announced the computer enclosure Scorpion, designed to create gaming desktop systems with a spectacular appearance.
The novelty (model GL-01B-OP) allows the installation of motherboards of ATX and Micro-ATX size. Inside, there is room for seven expansion cards. The length of discrete graphics accelerators can reach 349 mm (in the absence of fans in the front).
The front and side panels are made of darkened tempered glass. The front is initially installed three 120-millimeter fans with LED backlight.
Inside, you can accommodate two 3.5-inch drives and two 2.5-inch storage devices. The height of the processor cooler can reach 160 mm.
The case has dimensions of 436 × 202.5 × 505 mm. Weight is approximately 6.9 kilograms without a power supply. On the bracket with connectors at the top are ports USB 3.0 (× 2) and USB 2.0, sockets for headphones and microphone.
A curious detail of the novelty is a small display in the front part, which displays the time, system temperature and some other data.
