ASRock introduced desktop computers of the small form factor DeskMini 310 Series, relying on the Intel Coffee Lake hardware platform.
The main feature of the PC is the use of the Mini-STX motherboard. Products of this standard are characterized by small dimensions – 140 × 147 mm, but at the same time they offer the possibility of a processor upgrade.
The Intel H310 logic set is used. It is possible to install the eighth-generation Core processors in the LGA1151 version with a maximum dissipated thermal energy of up to 65 watts. Supports up to 32 GB of DDR4-2666 RAM in the form of two SO-DIMMs.
To connect the drives there are two Serial ATA 3.0 ports and a M.2 connector (for the 2280 solid-state module). Equipment includes a network controller Intel Gigabit I219V LAN; It is possible to install a combined Wi-Fi / Bluetooth wireless communication module.
The front panel has audio jacks, one USB 3.0 port Gen1 Type-C and USB 3.0 Gen1 Type-A. One HDMI, DisplayPort and D-Sub interface, one USB 2.0 Type-A and USB 3.0 Gen1 Type-A, a socket for the network cable can be found behind the back. The computer’s dimensions are 155 × 155 × 80 mm.
